Murrell's Inlet SC, 12/28/05

We used my new SC Passport for the first time to visit this park. It sits across the road from Brookgreen Gardens and holds "Atalaya", the winter home of the Huntingtons. I found it just charming with the same sort of feel you find touring St. Augustine, FL, and the old Spanish style seen everywhere.

Walking this first day was pretty short if you don't include the sightseeing as we drifted around both parks. Somehow it feels like the official beginning for me though, and even nicer that I shared it with Robert, Mom, and Jim!
